Railway Tunnel No. 4 on Adler - "Alpika-Service" Mountain Resort Route

The tunnel is located at the 37th kilometer of the Olympic route.

Construction began in the 3rd quarter of 2009 and completed in 2013.

The tunnel which is 480-meters long was driven by mining method, using drilling and blasting. The builders completed the driving of the upper (cap) part of the tunnel in October 2010. Tunneling work was completed in February 2011.
