Construction of a temporary bypass road is nearing completion

Utility relocation works on the Gorky Street are also completed. Construction of a temporary bypass road is nearing completion. By the end of the month, it is planned to switch traffic and open a new construction site. Work on the construction of piers continues. “Approximately on June 20, we will begin the first stage of launching of theover-water superstructure. This is exactly the cable-stayed part of the bridge,” the project supervisor said.
He also noted that the supply of metal structures is proceeding as planned. There are enough of them to carry out work on the construction of the superstructure.
As for the left bank, work on construction of the piers is also underway. At the end of June, another stage of the launching of the superstructure is planned.
In total, the facility employs almost a thousand people and 163 pieces of equipment.
“The facility is 30% ready. The work is on schedule, it is going on as planned, despite another wave of flood,” Eduard Davydov said.
